In May 2022, Ministry Venues - Borough hosted a training day with multiple breakout rooms for their client Scottish Widows. The client wanted a space with natural daylight, where they could breakout for the afternoon sessions into smaller groups for study exercises.
Scottish Widows sought a contemporary space with outstanding audiovisual (AV) capabilities for their internal training day. The White Space and Meeting Rooms were seamlessly combined to meet the event requirements, accommodating 60 internal staff in a cabaret-style setup. With strategic collaborations and innovative technology, the event facilitated engaging discussions and training sessions with senior leadership teams. The day concluded with a celebratory drinks reception featuring exquisite bowl food provided by Ministry Venues' catering partner, The London Kitchen.
IDENTIFYING THE VENUE
The requirements of the client made it clear that the ideal space that they were looking for was Ministry Venues - Borough. The space flooded with natural daylight and multiple breakout rooms, met with all fo the requirements of the brief and the exceptional AV facilities on site secured the deal.
With 60 internal staff attending, the event required a cabaret-style seating arrangement to facilitate productive discussions and learning. City Furniture Hire was enlisted to provide D-end tables with black tablecloths, complemented by Ministry Venues' in-house event chairs, ensuring a comfortable and conducive environment for all attendees.
To foster exemplary attendee engagement, the Meeting Rooms within the venue are equipped with cutting-edge AV technology. This setup allowed for seamless presentations, interactive discussions, and collaborative training sessions, enhancing the overall training experience for Scottish Widows' staff.
As a fitting conclusion to the successful training day, Scottish Widows hosted a champagne and cocktail drinks reception in The White Space. Ministry Venues collaborated with their catering partner, The London Kitchen, to provide exceptional bowl food, delighting the attendees and creating a memorable and celebratory atmosphere.
The event's seamless execution, state-of-the-art technology, and collaborative setup resulted in high client satisfaction. Scottish Widows' training day at Ministry Venues - Borough proved to be a resounding success, fulfilling their objectives and strengthening internal bonds. the following day Scottish Widows booked another event within the venue.
