GTF Connect London 2024 welcomed over 700 attendees, including high-profile industry and sustainability leaders, to the Ministry of Sound for a two-day event celebrating innovation, collaboration, and sustainability. With over 40 speakers and a mix of awards, workshops, and networking, the event required careful planning to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience.
Guests arrived through the venue entrance, where the Ministry team ensured a smooth and discreet arrival process. Special attention was paid to high-profile guests, avoiding congestion and maintaining a welcoming flow into the venue.
The event opened with the GREEN AWARDS, hosted in a sit-down format with live performances. The Box was arranged to accommodate the awards presentation, seating, and stage performance, providing a professional yet engaging atmosphere.
The second day focused on the conference sessions and speaker programme. The Box was set in a theatre layout, with a custom backdrop behind the stage and lighting reflecting the festival’s brand colours. This created a cohesive visual identity while supporting AV needs for keynotes and panels. Notable speakers included Mary Robinson, Dale Vince, Christopher Engman, and Nico Rosberg, who delivered insights across sustainability, energy innovation, and business strategy.
The Loft was transformed into a mini workshop space for smaller, interactive sessions, while the Lounge served as a VIP area for speakers to relax, prepare, and conduct touch-ups between presentations. Outside, a custom vehicle display added a dynamic experiential element to the venue approach. The event concluded with a DJ set in The 103, allowing guests to wind down and celebrate the two days of content and connection.
By leveraging the venue’s multiple adaptable spaces, full AV infrastructure, and event management expertise, the Ministry team delivered a large-scale, multi-day event that ran seamlessly from awards to conference to evening social, all while maintaining a high level of service for VIP attendees.
